Apply to Singing school for young students (nuorten laulukoulu)

Singing School for young students is meant for all is a three year program for all between ages 11 and 15 who are interested in improving their singing skills. The course lasts for three school years.

Registration to entrance exams is: March 23^rd to April 19^th 2026. 

You will find the application form in Eepos, by following the link below. The form will be visible from Monday 23rd March at 9 AM.

The entrance exams are held at the conservatory from May 5^th to May 8^th 2026.

How to apply:

• You will find a link to the application from from this page on March 23^rd. You can also apply directly through Eepos (where the form is located). If you do, choose Hae oppilaaksi -link.
• Choose from the selection the form Musiikin taiteen perusopetuksen hakulomake (open on Monday 23 March at 9.00)
• fill out the form
• choose a date and time for the entrance exam
• at the time you chose, arrive to Helsinki Conservatory for an entrance exam. (Adress: Ruoholahdentori 6, lobby)
• Results of student selection will be emailed to applicants on June 9th 2026.

The entrance exam includes:

• Discussion about your music related hobbies, as well as if you have any other hobbies
• You will sing two songs:
  • A compulsory song for all applicants is Taivas on sininen ja valkoinen. Any key is fine.  Taivas on sininen ja valkoinen.pdf  (sheet)
  • In addition you will sing a song of your choice.
• There will be no accompanist present at the entrance exam.

Results of student selection will be emailed to applicants on June 9^th 2026.
